Masterclass with Rodrigo Prieta
We would like to inform you that there will be a masterclass with Mexican cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto on December 14, 2020 at 6 pm.
Rodrigo Prieto is in recent years a main cinematographer of Martin Scorsese (The Killers of the Flower Moon, The Irishman, Silence, The Wolf of Wall Street), he is also signed under a number of key films of world cinema, for example Broken Embraces (Pedro Almodóvar), Brokeback Mountain (Ang Lee), Biutiful, 21 Grams, Amores perros (Alejandro González Iñárritu), Alexander the Great (Oliver Stone) or 8 Mile (Curtis Hanson). He made a documentary series with Oliver Stone about Fidel Castro and Vladimir Putin. He has been nominated for three Oscars and won a number of prestigious awards for his cinematographic work.
The masterclass will be hosted by two students from the Department of Cinematography, but there will also be a space for other participants to ask their questions. The meeting will be held in English. Enrollment for the module will be open in iKOS on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 3 p.m. The capacity of the module will be 40 students. Enrolled students will be sent a link to connect.
