The Research, Development and Education Operation Program (OP VVV) is a theme program spanning several years, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The program allows drawing support from European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) in the 2014 – 2020 program time frame.

OP VVV aims to help the Czech Republic move towards an economy based on educated, motivated and creative workforce, on production and exploitation of quality research results to improve the country’s competitiveness.

The operation program focuses on improving the quality of education, providing conditions for good quality research, interlinking education and research with the labour force and promoting the principle of equal access to education. At the same time, it aims to reduce the risk of young people’s failure at education which will have a significant influence over the quality of their lives and their success at the labour market.  OP VVV also supports quality and effectiveness improvement in education and specialist training, fairness, social cohesion and active citizenship, promotion of creativity and innovativeness, and business skill development on all levels of education and training.

PROJECT FOR GUARANTEED QUALITY OF STUDY AT THE ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS

On September, 2017, AMU launched the “Guaranteed Quality of Study at AMU” project which was promoted in the ESF call to universities and colleges within the Education, Research and Development Operation Program (OP VVV).   It aims to accredit or re-accredit 20 AMU study programs of strategic importance while reflecting the latest art practice trends and involving foreign experts, international mobility of teaching staff and financial support for education innovation. At the same time, AMU will introduce a system of guarantees for teaching quality, creative art and research activities as well as auxiliary activities which forms a prerequisite for institutional accreditation to be granted by the National Accreditation Bureau.

MAMU PROJECT

The acronym, MAMU, stands for a project with the primary aim of international mobility for AMU research staff. The project was promoted within the  framework of Call no. 02_16_027 International Mobility of Research Staff within the Education, Research and Development Operation Program (OP VVV) where the Control Authority is the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The project involves three instances of mobility at AMU: one work stay of a senior researcher abroad, and two work stays of senior researchers in the Czech Republic. The project should contribute towards improvement of research work at AMU.
